Heading to Alanya in May, what's the best way to get around?

Holland
So I'm flying out to Turkey in May, gonna spend some time in Alanya. Can't wait honestly, been grinding at work nonstop and need some sun. Thing is, I don't want to just plant myself on the beach for a week straight, sounds boring as hell. From what I've heard there's tons of cool stuff around that area worth checking out, old castles and canyons and mountain roads. What's the best way to get around out there, should I rent something or what? How are the roads and what places are actually worth seeing?

Dude, May's perfect timing for that trip. Alanya's got way more going on than just beaches and hotel pools. The whole region is loaded with history and nature stuff tucked into the mountains and along the coast. Roads are solid, mix of coastal highways and those twisty mountain routes that give you killer views around every turn. You'll find ancient fortresses, waterfalls hidden in canyons, villages that still look like they did centuries ago.

The coastal routes are pretty chill but once you start climbing into the hills the scenery gets wild. Mountains drop straight into the sea, forests everywhere, random ruins popping up where you least expect them. Grab a motorbike rental in Alanya here: https://getrentacar.com/en-US/motorcycle-rental/turkey-alanya . Lets you cruise up to Sapadere Canyon or explore those old fortresses without dealing with bulky vehicle problems. You've got complete control, can pull off anywhere that catches your eye, and you'll actually experience the ride instead of being sealed up inside something.
